"Holograph, signed. Title devised by cataloger. Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed on one leaf of paper with an additional leaf attached to the last page. On the tail edge of both the first and fifth pages, \"V38,P6(b)\" is written in pencil. The letter also contains two handwritings. Stuart Weld wrote the majority of the letter and the postscript, while his father, Theodore Dwight Weld, a noted abolitionist, penned another note to Garrison on the last page."
