notes
"Holograph, signed. Augustus Hesse is still concerned about the question of the bounty money due to him from the town of Weymouth. Mr. Humphry said he would pay the bounty as soon as he had spoken to the other selectmen. Hesse requests that Deborah Weston deposit his bounty money in the bank for him or his wife. Hesse's battery is expecting horses and cannon tomorrow. The camp is beautifully situated. Hesse walked from the camp to Weymouth in less than three hours."
