"Holograph, signed. Title devised by cataloger. Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in black ink on blue paper. Above the salutation, there is small checkmark drawn next to the number \"81,\" both written in pencil. There is a yellow spot towards the spine edge that is visible on every page. On the third and fourth page, there is also a small hole (about .4cm diameter) just below the yellow spot. After the fourth page the letter continues back on the first and second pages again, overlapping the text, with the handwriting running vertically and facing the fore edge of the first page and the spine edge of the second page."
