"Holograph, signed. The arrival of three vessels with wheat and corn kept Joseph Ricketson from attending the Unitarian Convention. He tells of initiating \"Joey\" into the business of the mill. Joseph Ricketson writes about Joey: \"I think he is in as good a situation as can be for his condition---I am proud of him. He is a thorough Abolitionist...\" Joseph Ricketson gives news of various people. The death of Frederick Parker was due to his drinking cider from a bottle which once had \"cobalt\" in it."
