Above the first line of the letter the number \"120\" is written in pencil, while along the spine edge, \"Dr. F.R. Lees, Manchester, July 2, 1867.\" is also written in pencil. The folder contains a stamped envelope addressed to \"W.L. Garrison Esq. of Boston. U.S/ Trevelyan Hall Manchester.\" There are two one penny, \"penny red,\" stamps featuring Queen Victoria and there is a circular postmark stamp reading \"Charin[g Cr]oss WC X JY 2 67\". Along one side of the envelope, \"George Thompson, London, July 2, 1867.\" is written in black ink and a different handwriting from the rest of the envelope. On verso, there is an embossed logo showing flowers under a crown, surrounded by the words \"Reform Club\". There is also another postmark stamp reading \"A Manchester 3 JY 67 S.T.\""
