"Holograph, signed. William Lloyd Garrison cannot attend the Peace Convention in Providence, but George Thompson will be present. Garrison went to Providence recently \"to get Dr. Sweet, the Natural Bone-setter,\" to examine his injured shoulder. Dr. Sweet thought that the rim of the shoulder-joint socket was broken. Garrison gives the itinerary of Mr. & Mrs. Henry Villard and Francis Jackson Garrison traveling in Europe. Mrs. Helen Eliza Garrison is being regularly treated for her paralysis \"by magnetism of the hand.\" He does not expect her to recover the use of her limbs."
