"Holograph, signed. Fog has prevented the ship from departing Eastport, Maine, and William Lloyd Garrison is homesick. Garrison continues this letter on Saturday morning, 7 o'clock a.m. On page three of the manuscript, Garrison wrote a poem entitled \"Misty-cal Lines, that ends: \"Call this not East-port more --- transmog - Rify it thus --- the port of Fog!\" On Saturday, Garrison reports that the sun appeared and the captain ordered us aboard."
