Whittier's portrait and George Thompson's portraits are on view. William L. Garrison's portrait is in Philadelphia to be engraved. Henry E. Benson, Isaac Knapp, and William L. Garrison sleep in the office. Samuel Sewall's \"intended\" [bride], Miss Winslow, was at the fair. William L. Garrison and Mr. May visited Harriet Martineau at Mr. Ezra S. Gannett's house, and the interview was very agreeable."
