Torrey, Alanson St. Clair in order to \"make capital for new organization, and to bring a false accusation against the leading friends of the old organization, some of whom happened to be in the Convention.\" Garrison denies the validity of the accusation made by Anna Braithwaite. He quotes numerous passages of the Scriptures. He refers to a work by John H. Noyes. Garrison is waiting for John Anderson Collins to arrive. Garrison praises Charles L. Remond and criticizes Joseph Sturge. Mrs. Child has charge of the Standard."
