"Transcribed by one of William Lloyd Garrison's children. William Lloyd Garrison is replying to a letter by J. C. Benson. Garrison modestly disclaims the praise lavished on him by Benson, but he agrees that Mrs. Garrison was a great help to him. Garrison says that \"we have been signally blessed in our children who are all that we could desire in filial affection, in unity of spirit, in exemplary conduct, & in aspirations for what is good and true!\""
