notes
"Holograph, signed \"your loving Father.\" William Lloyd Garrison is worried about Wendell Phillips Garrison's illness. He urges Wendell to take a long rest and to visit Rockledge. Henry Villard is looking for a summer residence in New Hampshire for himself and his family. William L. Garrison mentions Mrs. J. M. M'Kim and Lloyd Garrison's visit. William L. Garrison gave a lecture on papal and Protestant infallibility in North Bridgewater. The heavy rain deterred William L. Garrison from going to William Ashby's laurel festival."
