"Holograph, signed. William Lloyd Garrison is with Aunt Nancy, his mother's sister. He recalls that Indians were here in Granville twenty-five years ago. The property left by grandmother to William L. Garrison and Aunt Charlotte is being wrongfully held by Uncle Plato Lloyd. William L. Garrison will return home on Captain Shackford's schooner, the Boundary. He was kindly received by cousins Andrew Garrison and George Garrison. William L. Garrison discovered that he was born in Dec. 1805 (instead of 1804). On page four of this manuscript, William Lloyd Garrison writes another note to his wife, Helen Eliza Garrison, this one from Eastport, [Maine], on July 29, 1835, Wednesday evening, 5 o'clock. William Lloyd Garrison writes that the Boundary will probably depart tomorrow, and he hopes to be home by the Sabbath."
