On Saturday, William Lloyd Garrison, Jr., leaves for Ghent, New York. At Dix Place, Boston, William L. Garrison and his family were greeted by Henry Clarke Wright. It was the hottest day of the season. The expense of the trip averaged $10 a week for each member of the family. Garrison comments: \"Travelling is an expensive luxury, especially for pleasure.\""
