With the help of his son Frank attending to his comfort and welfare, Garrison had an auspicious trip. He visited the Rev. Wicksteed in North Wales. He also spent time with Miss Mary Anne Estlin, Elizabeth Pease Nichol, Joseph Lupton, and Mrs. John Mawson. He found George Thompson \"sadly changed in his appearance, tottering in his gait, and articulating with great difficulty, in consequence of a partial paralysis of the vocal organs,\" and Mrs. Thompson is \"lying at the point of death.\" Includes envelope with the delivery address: Rev.
