Garrison writes: \"Among our fellow passengers were Mr. and Mrs. Miller (Gerrit Smith's daughter) of Peterboro', Dr. Henry I. Bowditch, and Anne Warren Weston. Anne was confined to her berth nearly all the time, but came out pretty well in the end.\" Garrison will see Oliver Johnson in New York. He praises the kindness of Mrs. Mary Ann White Johnson.
