"Holograph, signed. William Lloyd Garrison describes his journey to New York by train and then by boat. Once in New York, he searched for living quarters for the female abolitionists traveling with him, including Julia Williams (a colored woman). No preparations were made for the Ladies' Convention. The Grimke sisters are expected to arrive probably on Monday. Theodore D. Weld left for Hartford on account of his health."
