Garrison explains that Benjamin Drew has obtained narratives from fugutive slaves in Canada about their experiences in slavery and their flight and has \"prepared and interesting and well-written manuscript on the subject.\" Jewett should consider publishing Drew's manuscript. J.P. Jewett published Benjamin Drew's manuscript in 1856 as: \"A North-Side View of Slavery.\""
