"Holograph, signed \"Your loving and pitying Father.\" Letter written in pencil. William Lloyd Garrison is glad to hear that Fanny Villard's skin trouble is clearing up. He sees no need for Mrs. Ellen Wright Garrison to go to New York to take care of her. Ellen W. Garrison's \"headaches (partly induced by heartaches) are frequent and severe.\" William Lloyd Garrison and Francis Jackson Garrison plan to attend Lillie Chace's wedding in Valley Falls, and later they may go to New York. He sent Fanny Garrison Villard an account, written by Lucy Stone in the Saturday's Woman's Journal, of a meeting honoring William Lloyd Garrison on the anniversary of the Boston mob of 1835. William Lloyd Garrison received a copy of the Leeds Mercury containing an account of George Thompson's funeral. Lucy Thaxter just called on William Lloyd Garrison and sends her regards to Fanny G. Villard."
