"Holograph, signed. In this letter, William Lloyd Garrison writes to George William Benson that it is still raining. Garrison is still staying with Thomas Van Rensalaer. Garrison sends a message of affection to his brother James Holley Garrison. In the postscript on page four, William L. Garrison reports on Nathaniel P. Rogers's health. On page three of this manuscript there is a separate letter from Jackson James Caleb to George William Benson. Caleb writes: \"We have secured the old depository for $550, and shall induct--probably--Isaac T. Hopper as publishing agent.\" We will start a paper as large as the Emancipator and call it the American or National Anti-Slavery Standard."
