"Holograph, signed \"Your loving Father.\" William Lloyd Garrison tells of visiting Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson Garrison in Cambridgeport. George Thompson Garrison was suffering from a disfigurement of the face caused by \"poisonous dogwood.\" William Lloyd Garrison called on Mr. and Mrs. Sewall, Mr. Cabot and Louisa, and Mrs. Lydia Maria Child. William L. Garrison says: \"The adopted daughter of Sarah Southwick is a school-teacher in Melrose, and boards at the Sewalls.\" On Friday, William L. Garrison visited Deborah, Anne, and Emma Weston in Weymouth, Mass. Caroline Weston was too fatigued to see him. He heard from Mrs. Nosworthy that George Thompson is dying."
