"Holograph, signed. The executive committe of the American Anti-Slavery Society decided to send delegates to the anniversaries in London next May. Arthur Tappan was chairman. People representing the clerical colonizationists are already in England. It was voted to send Samuel Hanson Cox and Joshua Leavitt. William Lloyd Garrison was entertained in Brooklyn by Henry Ibbotson, an English merchant and philanthropist. Garrison spoke at two churches with colored congregations.
