Garrison writes: \"The Fitch party would be 'less than nothing,' were it not for the co-operation of our enemies with it.\" J.G. Whittier and Henry B. Stanton are here in Boston. Stanton is cautious but disposed to stand by the Garrisonians. George Bourne left for New York. The executive committee will recall Henry C. Wright unless he drops his \"no-government\" views. The Liberator cannot be sustained without help after Jan. 1."
