"Holograph, signed with initials. William Lloyd Garrison tells about a sudden equinoctial gale. His lecture in Lockport was badly managed and almost a complete failure. He does not expect to have much more success in Erie, Pa. He is worried about Samuel Joseph May's bad cough. He doubts the cough will permit May to officiate at the wedding of Fanny and Henry Villard. Garrison gives instructions about the withdrawal of expense money due to him from the Freedmen's funds."
