notes
"Holograph, signed. William Lloyd Garrison gives an account of the Thompsonian cure, a treatment that includes hot drinks and steam baths. Joshua V. Himes took the treatment with Garrison at the Thompsonian infirmary kept by Dr. Clark. Garrison feels much improved. Garrison asks about Dr. Hawes action in Hartford. The use of the Odeon has been granted to the Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society for lectures by Angelina E. Grimke. Garrison sends a message of admiration of Nathaniel Colver's \"zeal, boldness, eloquence, and success\" in the anti-slavery cause."
