notes
"Holograph, signed. William Lloyd Garrison hopes to arrive in Syracuse near midnight and will go to Samuel Joseph May's house for breakfast. Charles L. Remond's attendance is uncertain because of poor health. Lucy Stone will not come if cholera is in Syracuse. Garrison will try to secure Wendell Phillips. Garrison comments on the Liberty Party Convention to be held in Syracuse, on Gerrit Smith, and on the peaceful dissolution of the Union."
