Garrison believes that \"nothing can justify race proscription, or acting upon the jesuitical doctrine that we may do evil, that good may come, and that the end justifies the means.\" He quotes from Lydia Maria Child's letter on the subject. William Lloyd Garrison sends a memorial volume relating to Mrs. Garrison and a photograph of himself. He lists the abolitionists who have died."
