notes
"Holograph, signed. On pages one through two of this manuscript, there is a postscript by William Lloyd Garrison to Samuel Joseph May. Garrison urges Samuel J. May to attend and speak at the meeting in Plymouth. Samuel J. May's visit to Plymouth might save George Ware Briggs from apostasy. On page one of this manuscript, there is a letter by Bourne Spooner to Samuel Joseph May. Spooner urges May to help by attending the quarterly convention of the Plymouth County Anti-Slavery Society. Only Charles L. Remond has promised to be there."
