His hobby was a Congress of Nations.\" There is a plot against the Liberator, with Amos A. Phelps and Charles T. Torrey foremost in the matter, and backed by Henry B. Stanton, Alanson St. Clair, and others. The Board plans to print a monthly news sheet. Orange Scott and Nathaniel Colver are in favor of a new paper. Francis Jackson, Edund Quincy, and William Bassett will manage the Liberator's finances."
