notes: "Copy. Whereabouts of original manuscript unknown. Presumably in the hand of Wendell Phillips Garrison. William Lloyd Garrison thanks James Mott and Lucretia Mott for allowing their names to be added in support of the call for the Anti-Sabbath Convention. He hopes that Charles C. Burleigh will write a tract on the history of the seventh-day Sabbath. He praises Edward M. Davis, the son-in-law of the Motts. Garrison thanks the Motts for their gift that was enclosed in their letter. He marvels at Lucretia's endurance as a public speaker in Ohio."
