"Holograph, signed. William Lloyd Garrison will leave Boston on Feb. 9th in order to lecture in Rochester on Feb. 12 and then lecture in Buffalo on the 13th. If Samuel Joseph May could make the practical arrangements, Garrison would also lecture in Syracuse and Utica. The annual meeting of the Massachusetts state society just closed; attendance was not large because of the severe weather. There was unanimous opinion in favor of disunion."
