"Holograph, signed with initials. William Lloyd Garrison went on a shopping trip with Mrs. Cornelius Bramhall and Marcia. He heard Rev. Leonard Bacon's son preach. He gives the names of Bramhall's guests. He received a generous donation to the National Testimonial from Elias Smith. Garrison outlines his traveling plans. J. Miller M'Kim still has a bad cough. On page four of this manuscript, there is a separate letter by Wendell Phillips Garrison to Helen Eliza Garrison. Wendell does not believe that Francis Jackson Garrison should go to college if he doesn't want to. Wendell describes having tea at the Bramhall's home. He writes: \"Yesterday we were able to rejoice over the Atlantic Cable. Do you realize how near it brings your daughter to you?\""
