"Holograph, signed. Anne Warren Weston went to St. Paul's Church Sunday, and \"though Mr. Stone is a very good man, he is a stupid preacher.\" She describes a long tiring call in the evening from the junior editor of the Atlas, who contradicted Anne's every word on slavery. [The editor of the Atlas in July 1838 was Richard Haughton.] She describes calls made and various domestic matters. Anne has learned from Dr. Sweetser that the best way to combat incipient consumption is to stay most of the time in the open air. \"This I do...which may account for my non-sewing.\" This letter is written on the blank space of an anti-slavery petition."
