Mrs. Maria Weston Chapman wants George Thompson to come to Weymouth, but the abolitionists are horrified at the idea and want to get him safely home as soon as possible. Abolitionists in Boston are not now under the protection of the laws; Thompson and Garrison are not safe. Writes about sending abolition literature; Mrs. Lydia Maria Child's Appeal costs fifty cents.
