[Convers Francis (1796-1863) was the brother of Mrs. Lydia Maria Child.] Deborah received a \"20 dollar application today\" and will then have a total of 23 scholars. Mr. Graupner, the music master, has offered to give Lucia and Emma music lessons; they will accept lessons only for Lucia. She sends her love to aunts Mary, Priscilla, and Phebe; and has a message for aunt Phebe. In the postscript, Deborah requests that Mrs. Weston \"send some violets the first chance.\" There is an unrelated letter with the same Call No. Ms.A.9.2 v.5, p.69. It is an undated letter by Sarah to Deborah Weston. Sarah has high praise for the last performance of Burke and mentions also Barret as having performed \"like an angel.\""
