Phillips compares Francis Jackson and George Thompson as speakers. Deborah writes: \"E. Pease has sent ten little cards, with Daniel O'Connell's autograph in the centre...\" She tells about a Chartist meeting in England. Caroline Weston has a very full school. Mary Parker stayed with the Grimke sisters when she was sick. Lucretia Mott had a speaking engagement at the Unitarian chapel."
