notes: "Holograph, signed. This manuscript consists of two letters. On page three, there is a letter by Lyman Crowl to William Lloyd Garrison, written on Nov. 15, 1839. Lyman Crowl explains why the author of the letter on page one would not reveal his identity. The letter by Mr. Wright to Henry Brewster Stanton was in a bundle of letters given to the anonymous letter writer for examination. On page one of this manuscript, there is a letter by an anonymous man to William Lloyd Garrison, dated Nov. 14, 1839, Ohio City. He found a letter by Mr. Wright that said the New Organization \"had harped too much on the womans rights question & that they must have a nomination of candidates for the Presidency & V.P. as Garrison would oppose this & they could then shift the issue--i.e. from womans rights to the nomination question ...\""
