At the quarterly meeting (of the Female Anti-Slavery Society), sundry resolutions were passed. Charles L. Resmond could not come, being at the trial of Dr. Amos Farnsworth in Lowell. Dr. Farnsworth called; he was \"full of toubles\" and running all over town in quest of a lawyer. He thinks he will lose and \"fall a martyr in the Cause.\" Anne enumerates the calls she made. Mrs. Henry Chapman is mending fast. \"There is a great deal of sudden sickness & death. Nobody can tell the causes or the cure.\""
