Rogers writes; and believes that he ought not to call the ministers names. She details the relations of Mrs. John F. Emerson and Mary Congdon to the New Bedford fair. Anne likes Mrs. Emerson very well and feels more at home at her house than at Mrs. Beane's. She compares Mrs. Emerson with Mrs. Beane. She believes that Deborah Weston could have a school in New Bedford any time. \"Deborah appears to have been greatly liked by all her children.\" After her school closes on Friday, November 18, Anne will leave for Boston on Monday. She regrets that she could not be with Henry G. Chapman in his last hours, but believes that it was doubtless better that Lucia Weston was there."
