He sends a letter from Mary Hill of Pawtucket requesting that her name be taken from the Declaration of Sentiments [of the Non-Resistance Society?] \"because it is not based on the Atonement.\" He comments playfully on his heterodoxy and reactions to it. Edmund Quincy exclaims that the printer declared his handwriting more legible than Maria W. Chapman. He rejoices at (Henry G.) Chapman's improvement. He asks if Maria W. Chapman has decided on a name for her baby; he is in favor of \"Maria Weston.\""
