He has heard that the Third Party group intends to employ G[eorge] Bradburn as the editor of their paper. He discusses their difficulties. He heard that the number of subscribers to the National Anti-Slavery Standard had decreased greatly and comments on the reduced circulation of anti-slavery newspapers in general. He gives his views on the future of New Organization newspapers. He is very much interested in the Standard."
