"Holograph, signed. This letter is concerned with a boy named Martin, who is a former slave. Ellis Gray Loring still thinks it necessary to send Martin on a whaling voyage, and \"the sooner he can go the better.\" He is anxious that Martin should go \"with a captain of judicious & humane character.\" Ellis G. Loring will pay liberally such persons as Caroline Weston may find willing to board and equip the boy.
