Chapman is giving up her house, which will require the discontinuance of the anti-slavery fair, as there will be no other place in the city to store the goods. She remarks on the change in attitude toward the abolition of slavery. Even the Christian Register is \"so steeped in Anti-Slavery that I find nothing new in it.\" Evelina A. S. Smith has lived with pro-slavery people all summer."
