Follen, \"the best of men,\" and she comments on the \"shame the Unitarians of Boston have put upon themselves, by withholding their houses\" [for a memorial service]. She tells of a man from Raleigh, NC, who listens to abolition sermons. Evelina A. S. Smith is planning a visit to Washington with a party of friends and wishes that Caroline Weston would join them. Evelina A. S. Smith is puzzled by notices in the Liberator and in the Atlas regarding the Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society and a resolution to dissolve the society. The preamble to this resolution struck Evelina A. S. Smith as \"very just and true.\""
