Drake has received enough material to increase the amount to 60 dollars, \"but I cannot raise help for love or money. I now have to sit up till one o'clock to get them [the articles] ready. This will account for my tardiness.\" Drake says: \"I am at times almost disheartened, when I see what I have to do with my poor feeble eyes, & my little ones to care for. I find it next to an impossibility for me to complete the work. The Fair opens a week earlier than I expected.\""
