"Holograph, signed. This circular letter announces that the ninth annual meeting of the American Anti-Slavery Society is to be held in New York on the 10th of May. The Tabernacle in Broadway has been secured. \"We anticipate one of the most interesting Anti Slavery meetings ever held in the city of New York.\" Collins said: \"We would urge upon you, by every consideration, not only to attend this meeting yourself, but to urge every one in your vicinity friendly to our cause to attend.\" As times are hard, special arrangements have been made with the reailroad and steamboat companies; the fare from Boston to New York and back will be two dollars each way. He includes timetables. New York friends have secured accommodations for delegates at good boarding houses for 50 cents a day. On the verso, this letter has the delivery address: Caroline Weston, Boston, Mass."
