Grew asks for Anne Warren Weston's opinion and Wendell Phillips's opinion on this matter; Wendell Phillips is Anne Warren Weston's cousin. She asks a number of questions regarding Miss Stone, such as: \"Does she wear well?\" \"Is her conversation instructive and interesting to the unenlightened?\" She laments the absence of Mrs. Maria Weston Chapman. Preparations for the next fair (in Philadelphia) have begun. Mary Grew comments: \"We mean to have a better one than we have ever yet held.\" Mary Grew will send the annual report and \"a sermon, recently preached by Mrs. [Lucretia] Mott to the medical students of this city.\""
