"Samuel Joseph May is waiting to receive the Liberty Bell, which he wants to present to his friend George B. Emerson. [The 1846 Liberty Bell contains an \"extract from a Speech at the Anti-Texan Meeting in Fanuil Hall, 1845,\" by Samuel J. May, p. 73-76.] Samuel J. May can dispose of a half dozen copies of the Liberty Bell. It is sad \"to feel oneself so far away from Boston.\" He lists the abolitionists assembled to consider the Report of the Board of C. F. Missions. The address was prepared by Amos A. Phelps and \"gives such an expose of the corruption of the Board as ought to destroy all confidence in them.\" Samuel J. May says that tomorrow there will be two political meetings concerned with the votes of Liberty Party members. Holograph, signed."
