People are too engrossed in domestic issues to study the situation in America. Also, American political party names are especially puzzling to the British people. In England, many believe that one can do more good by remaining in an organization than by leaving it. The Honorable Baptist Noel's \"leaving the Church to unite with the Baptists\" is seen in this light. W. Thomson speaks of Albert Barnes \"as doing more good by protesting against slavery in his denomination\" than he would do by leaving it. Anne Tribe refers to our \"dear friends in Park St.\" [a reference to Mary Anne and John Bishop Estlin] and explains the prejudice of some people against working with Unitarians. However, they have a united committee. All are anxious for the success of the Anti-Slavery Advocate. Anne Tribe is glad to hear of the safe arrival of Caroline Weston."
