"Holograph, signed. Emma Michell congratulates Miss Weston on her return home, but hopes she will find reasons for making a second visit to Europe and that then \"dear Annie [Chapman?] will accompany her.\" Emma Michell elaborates on the nearness in spirit she feels towards Miss Weston. She mentions an anti-slavery show which has just ended. She praises Sarah Pugh and finds comfort in her consent to postpone her departure till the middle of November and hopes she will stay through the winter. Sarah Pugh \"has already done good service at Bath.\" Miss Pugh's expositions had eager listeners who \"gave forth their fears and doubts touching Garrison and the Infidel question---and were comforted by her replies.\" Mary Estlin's report is doing good service. They have \"bright hopes\" of the Advocate, the first number of which is to appear on October 1st. She does not expect the paper to be over popular in the Bridgewater district. Emma Michell wants Miss Weston to remember that nothing at the present time \"will be so useful as Mr. Garrison's works.\" Emma Michell is eager to hear how Miss Weston got on with Henson, who was her fellow voyager. Miss Pugh and Mr. James had a discussion of the women's rights question. Mary [Estlin?] and Emma Michell are \"yet in a mist as to some of our wrongs but the American and English position are in some degree different.\" She has heard that Mrs. Maria Weston Chapman is looking for an apartment. She gives news of other acquaintances, mentioning Mr. John Bishop Estlin. She tells of an argument in which William Lloyd Garrison was called \"bloodthirsty\" by a Mr. Biggelow(?), who also told the story of Parker Pillsbury and the dogs."
