Tells who was \"tending\" at the fair: Sarah Russell, Mrs. Lydia Maria Child, Mrs. Eliza Lee Follen, etc. She criticizes William H. Channing. She mentions an argument with Mrs. Gilman about infidelity. She talked to Dr. Francis about Harriet Martineau. She gives some instructions about family finances. There is also an unrelated receipt (financial record). It is for the payment of $1.75, on December 1845(?), from Mrs. H.G. Chapman [Maria Weston Chapman] to A.H.(?) Rhoades."
